Order # 30160. Lettering looked awesome! Followed instructions provided to apply to my boat. Parts of lettering stuck to both backing and boat completely ruining the Lettering. Was very gentle when removing the backing. Could been a combination of the font selected along with having the letters cut out. Feel Ripped Off! Not Satisfied!

We LOVE our letters....BLUE PEARL. They were soooooo easy to apply to the back of our boat. Our Starcraft is nearly 20 years old and finally has her name.
Very fast service and pretty easy to put on the boat. My boat has little room and these letters fit perfectly.

It was real easy to do. We have lettered boats in the past, but usually we do this when we have hauled them out. I know the back is a little crooked but we were on a ski doo launch floating behind the boat in the river with boat traffic going by. Once you start you are committed.

Brad, I first ordered my boat name on your site in 4". I was not sure of the size that I should order. It turned out that I needed to re-order at about twice the original size. I guess when it pre-loads with a 2" letter I assumed that was a normal size. I ordered on Monday and had it on Friday. I received an email when it shipped the next day. Very impressed with your promptness and price. I was hoping that the gold was more of a gold leaf, but it looks great. I would upload a picture but 1 week after putting it on, someone threw a hose while washing down the boat and scratched a letter from top to bottom. Oh well! I will order again. In fact, my sons girl friend is ordering our boat name to put on a boat cooler for my sons birthday-great idea!

Installing lettering was very easy,and the lettering came off the backing easier than others I have used @ work.
After removing layers of old numbers, I placed the new registration numbers on one side of the boat. My wife came out and complemented me for getting the numbers so straight and evenly spaced. Then she watched me put the numbers on the other side of the boat, sort of withdrew her compliment, and said that she could have done that. I should have waited until she went back in the house. It was, in fact, very easy and the results, even on an old boat, were great.
Your instructions were minimal, but sufficient - even for the "challenged" applicator like me. I will separately send an email with a photo. Thanks!
The lettering is exactly what we previewed on the website, installed easily, and hasn't shown any signs of weathering, peeling, or fading. Will definitely do business again!
Will use this site again. Told all of my boating friends about it, they had similar experiences with service and product.
I purchased my lettering around Easter and it has already faded like it is years old. I even upgraded my purchase to the 3M film yet it has faded within a couple of months. My boat stays covered except when in use. The initial quality was superb, but the product has left much to be desired.

The web site "design" option was great. The numerous options allows you to make exactly what you may have in mind. I have received several compliments on my numbers. If you are looking for unique "one of a kind" lettering, this is the place to bring your imagination to reality. I will be ordering the "name" for my boat, whenever I decide on a name.
I received the graphics promptly and they were packaged well. I installed them on my boat and noticed that the decal was not acting normally. I notified "do it yourself lettering" and explained the problem I was having and they made a few suggestions on how I could install it differently with better results. They sent me a complete new order at no cost to me and that set installed perfectly. I was really impressed with the patience and understanding that the staff had shown and a "special thank you" to Roy. Job well done, and I will be ordering all my future decals thru Do it Yourself.
The name is a bit odd, but my late fishing buddy always used to say when we would get into some good fishing, "Will somebody pinch me, because I think I have died and gone to heaven." So that became my boat name with his initials as he will always be fishing with me.

We ran into some problems with our project and this company immediately responded and helped make it work.
Excellent Service and price .... Boat US was ~ $80 (douple check my job on their site if you are going to publish this any further to be sure I quoted it correctly with them) and you were $18 for standard and $24 for the better 3M vinyl (which I bought), and you had the color shadow I needed (gold) to match the boat color scheme. Finally when I slightly messed us the first application you send me another no questions ... and even no shipping charge. I'm sold you your product and company and I have already recommended you to 2 of my dock neighbors.
