“The design process was very flexible and intuitive. This was our first time creating a decal, and they were intentionally large (6.5" x 39"). I got a quick response from support regarding the maximum reasonable height we could fit into a specific area. We intended to apply them the moment they arrived, but couldn't do it until a month later. The decals remained rolled up inside their box that whole time. The problem we had was that the transfer tape was puckered presumably from being on the inside of the rolled decal so long. Once we removed the backing liner, the decal was tricky to flatten out due to the undulations in the transfer tape. One letter of the first decal ended up with a fold that we had to carefully cut apart and flatten. For the second decal we cut the two words apart after taping it to the surface and had an easier time. I don't know if we should have let the decals "rest" flat before applying, whether that would have helped relax the ripples in the transfer tape or not. Nonetheless we are satisfied with our purchase and will but from DIY Lettering again.”
