I could not find gold numbers on white vinyl anywhere. I am so glad I found this website! My mailbix looks great, the numbers arrived quickly and the application was so easy! Love it!
Horrible product-went to Home Depot & bought something far better & much easier to use.
Would have liked the prices to have been a bit lower but I knew what I'd be paying before placing the order. Also, I chose not to 'weed' and chose the most expensive vinyl option. The system works very well any I got a result I would not have gotten using any other method I know of.
Letter were great. I created them a little to large to fit the flat area of the mailbox. We separated them in order to squeeze them in. When we need replacements, we will make them slightly smaller.
I’m enthusiastically happy with my purchase. I wanted simple mailbox numbering, but with transparent background for the letters. My mailbox, and it’s numbers, were weathered after nine years, so I replaced all. The digits are aligned! The numbers are just like those I replaced, so the builder must have used the same kind of product. I liked your product such that I will always look to you for any kind of one-off sign or lettering. And thanks for combining my two orders when I realized, later, that I needed numbers for both sides of the mailbox.
Easy to apply. I ordered the reflective material, which shows up well at night. Product is delicate as I predicted, which is why I ordered an extra one. One got mangled during handling.

Very pleased with the website, options, and finished project. We have some other ideas to use vinyl for in the future, and will definitely be returning to diylettering's page.
I initially thought I would just buy discrete letters/numbers and put together the address on my mailbox, but wasn't sure I would be able to make it look straight and was concerned with running out of space. Using the DIY lettering web site I was able to ensure in advance that the address would fit in my allocated space and would definitely be straight. Application was easy and I'm very pleased with the results.
Well, I botched the first try. Called to order a 2nd. Stunned when they told me it would be free. Completely user error, and it was free! Would 100% recommend.
Searched long and hard for numbers that were similar to our original numbers on our mailbox. So many options. Very easy to apply!

I was repainting my and a neighbors mailbox and needed number for both. She had looked locally and couldn't find anything to match what we had. The website was easy to use and offered many font, size and color selections. The pricing was very reasonable. Shipping was super quick and the product arrived within a couple of days. Excellent product! Virtually stupid proof. Nothing to line up because it is a single sheet of numbers. Installation is super easy - clean the surface to which product will be applied; peel off backing; line up and stick on the surface. Peel off the front protective cover and bingo, you're done!
Really an awesome product! You can go to the local store and buy individual lettering kits, but the results don't compare to what Do It Yourself Lettering can deliver. The finished product looks completely professional.

Our other neighbors moved our mailboxes (without our consent) after 23 years because they were on our property which is in front of their house and they didn't like that. We finally found another acceptable location and put up new boxes and posts. The new address numbers look SO classy.
I LOVE my mailbox letters with the hearts used for the holes! It came all on one sheet, I smoothed it on all by myself and gently peeled off the backing. VOILA!! Beautiful and totally so me!! We had new siding put on our house. Hubby kept saying "next weekend" to polish and put house numbers back on. Six months later UPS would not leave a package. To Google I went, "mailbox numbers" hoping to find something original! Tada! LOVE THEM!!! And so easy a woman can do it!! ;-P
I needed extremely small letters, and they (as well as providing the large ones) made the tiny ones to perfection. I was making a custom dustjacket for a book and needed some 1/4" tall and was worried. I shouldn't have been. They had them in my mailbox two days after I ordered them. Their quality is WAY better than any other letter maker online. If you want cheap and kinda 1980's lookin' go with the others---if you want modern and very, very high quality--go with this crew here. If you're dissapointed, email me and I'll eat both your shoes . . .and pay for the shipping. In my bookmarks forever. Thanks
Lettering was very easy to apply and looks great. I would buy again in a heartbeat.
