Boat Lettering Review #10825: Boat

We installed the numbers on our boat which is painted with AWLGRIP paint. The right side I applied directly to the paint and had trouble with the decal not wanting to stay with the paint - wanting to lift off with the paper. On the left side, I prepped the surface with denatured alcohol. This side went SLIGHTLY better, but I still had to work on the sharp corners to stay on the boat. We haven't had any trouble with it coming off since then but the numbers have only been on for 2 weeks of use, about 8 weeks total. They seem like they will stay but I'm concerned that we'll have to be very careful with washing. They really don't seem like they bonded to the surface at all, and that was my expectation.
